He said he will be in Andhra Pradesh and contest as MLA. He lashed out at the opportunists in the party and branded those who change parties as chameleons from whom TDP will never loss. Earlier there were reports that Balakrishna may contest from Hindupur constituency, Anantpur as MP. He made it clear that he will contest only for assembly and party will decide from where to contest.
He revealed that desertion and defection of opportunitsts from the party will not be a loss to the party. He said TDP is strengthened by people’s power and he will come out with more details about his constituency after discussing with Party High Command.
Though this news may delight his fans, at the same time they will be worried that Balakrishna may not score century on silver screen once he starts entering politics.
