The biopic film on legendary actor and politician Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao has been in the discussions and debates from last few weeks. While Ram Gopal Varma announced it as Lakshmi’s ‘NTR’, actor Balakrishna has chosen the director’s former assistant Teja to make another biopic on his father.
The film, that will be directed by Teja, will focus on NTR’s rise to Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, based on the inputs from his close associates and family members- and it will have Balakrishna Nandamuri playing NTR’s role. The latest talk in the tinsel town is that senior actor Jagapathi Babu will be Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is likely to play Harikrishna’s role in the most-awaited film.
If it turns out to be true, this is going to be one of the most-notable opportunities for both Jagapathi Babu and Kalyan Ram. Jagapathi Babu, in the past, was in rumored to play KCR in a biopic on TRS chief. However, there’s no official confirmation on the news that is widespread in FilmNagar,
Director Teja, who recently came under the limelight with a political drama ‘Nene Raju Nene Manthri’, once described that making a biopic on NTR is a dream in his career. On other hand, maverick filmmaker RGV announced Lakshmi’s NTR, which he announced will show NTR’s travel after Lakshmi Parvathi entered his life.
