On the fourth day of the Godavari Maha Pushkaralu, lakhs of devotees performed the holy dip in the Godavari waters and also performed several rituals remembering their ancestors.
Reiterating the powerful impact of visual medium and particularly cinema, a couple of interesting incidents that took place during the ongoing Maha Pushkaralu in the East and West Godavri districts have shared strikingly similar emotional visuals of the current blockbuster hit, Baahubali.
Couple of Baahubali’s posters, Sivagami’s hand carrying her baby in her hand and swimming across the waters and Sivagami carrying both her children have made a lasting impression among the audiences. These visuals had great emotional depth and they formed the emotional crux of the film’s story.
Now, couple of similar incidents where a lady carrying her two children just like Ramyakrishna did as Sivagami in Kovvuru and a father carrying his child in his hand, just like the first released poster of Baahubali in which a hand carrying a baby in the waters, made a splash at a pushkar ghat in Rajahmundry.
