Just like ‘Baahubali’, ace director Rajamouli had carved a masterpiece called ‘Magadheera’, a decade ago, which wiped out almost all the existing records. Now, the Ram Charan starrer has added another feather to its highly decorated cap.
The Hindi dubbed version of Magadheera has become the first Hindi dubbed South Indian film to cross 100 million views on Youtube. The new milestone scaled by Magadheera can be attributed largely to Rajamouli and his latest visual wonder, Baahubali.
Post the worldwide success of Baahubali, North Indian movie lovers have started searching for Rajamouli’s previous movies, and hence the surge in Magadheera’s Youtube views. Besides Baahubali, recently released Hindi film, ‘Raabta’ has also helped Magadheera partly. Since Raabta has been widely publicized as the unauthorized remake of ‘Magadheera’, North people showed interest in watching the original film.
All in all, a Telugu film – Magadheera scaling this phenomenal record on Youtube is truly a proud moment for Telugu film lovers. Post Baahubali, film lovers across the nation are looking at Tollwood with awe and respect.
