Those critically acclaimed films that are made with high emotions and fine story also fail to make it to Oscars from India. It’s surprising to see that ‘chinnari pellikoothuru’ Avika Gor’s film is trying to compete at Oscars. Check this out.
Apparently Avika has turned heroine with movies like Uyyala Jampala and recently Cinema Choopista Maava. All these movies are commercial stories and actress is now upping her glamour quotient too with which she want to storm the top-heroines circuit.
However, our chubby girl has done a film in Kannada which is titled “Footpath 2” and this film is now getting dubbed into Telugu as “Manja”. Revolving around the life of juvenile criminals, the film features Avika and also Esha Deol in a lead role.
Coming to this Oscars thing, “Footpath 2” got submitted in General Category for a lateral entry to Oscar nominations. We have to see how far it will work out.
