AP takes ‘T-Battles’ to Centre

Andhra Pradesh government led by Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu took its battles with newly formed Telangana State to Union Government. It lodged severe protest against the attitude of Hyderabad City Police alleging that the cops adopted partisan attitude towards inter governmental issues. AP alleged Telangana Govt and its officials are not following Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act and asked Centre to bring Hyderabad Police under Common Governor.
AP Govt’s protest came in the backdrop of bitter battles regarding usage of power and water. ESL.Narasimhan is the common Governor of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and Hyderabad is the common capital for ten years. AP government in a press release stated that chief secretary IYR.Krishna Rao met Union Cabinet Secretary and the Home Secretary on November 7 and lodged protest against the highhandedness of Telangana Govt.
They brought to the notice involving institutions like National Academy of Construction(NAC), National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management(NITHM) and the row over transfer of funds in AP Building Construction Workers Welfare Fund. Earlier Telangana cops prevented B.Sam Bob, to take charge ad Director General of NAC.
