In a shocking twist, the cops who have been probing the murder of a man named Shankar Rao near Thotapalli ITDA, Vizianagaram, have found out that the deceased’s newly married wife Saraswathi is the main culprit. Apparently, Saraswathi is not happy with the marriage and thus, she has taken the help of her friend Siva to get her husband murdered.
Shankar Rao and Saraswathi, who hail from Veeraghattam, Srikakulam, got married on April 28. Shankar Rao was an engineering graduate and he works at a private firm in Bengaluru. On Monday, when the newly weds were on their way home from Parvathipuram, they were attacked by unidentified people. Shankar Rao was hit with an iron rod and he died on the spot. The attackers also robbed Saraswathi’s gold.
Cops began their investigation and when they questioned Saraswathi who was recovering from minor injuries at a hospital, she had confessed to getting her husband murdered with the help of her friend Siva. Siva employed rowdysheeter Gopi’s henchmen and executed the attack.
