Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu seems to have decided not to listen to anyone or learn from his mistakes even after 27 innocent devotees lost their lives in the stampede at Rajamundry pushkar ghat on the start of the pushkarams.
Right from the beginning Chandrababu decided to promote Pushkarams in a big manner and get international recognition using it as a launch pad. So when Telangana CM KCR finished his pushkar dip quite quickly though he is extremely spiritual, Chandrababu who wanted to score political points took hours concentrating on documentary rather than on the people’s security.
Since Chandrababu has brother in law and co brother and many of his family members in films, there is no doubt that he planned to turn pushkarams into filmi shoots and publicity stunts. His directors and advisors turned into PR exercise by allowing Chandrababu’s family members and relatives which resulted in the deaths.
These deaths are also cause of extreme media publicity by various channels by some half knowledge people that these pushkarams come once in 144 years. Unlike olden days when people used have pushkar baths on any of the days in nearby locations, people too got carried away by publicity mania and selected only one particular ghat feeling others are useless which finally resulted in the tragedy?
Even after that Chandrababu did not learn from his mistakes and limitations. He warned that he will be stay put in Rajamundry for entire pushkarams and go on rounds along with media. Till media and Chandrababu along with his close aides follow this ill-timed approach, troubles for people will not end.
