Looking at the kind of hard work he has done and the way he infused life into Surya character in “Naa Peru Surya”, many feel that Allu Arjun should join the Indian Armed Forces for real. And he’s doing it.
Other day, a military Major named Srinivasa Rao has watched the film and appreciated Bunny for coming up with such a fantastic feat. Upon watching Naa Peru Surya, he advised that Bunny should pick up to join Army for real as an honorary celebrity.
The likes of Mohan Lal, Sachin and MS Dhoni are invited by Armed Forces as honorary guests. Dhoni was given honorary commission as Lt Colonel in the 106 Para TA Battalion of the Indian Army. However, this rank won’t allow them to command any unit as normal officers do. But Dhoni finished few para jumping courses and won some real medals as well.
These honorary commissions will be naturally given to celebs such that they will encourage youths to join the army. Similarly, Sachin was invited by Indian Airforce and Mohan Lal joined the territorial army. Now Allu Arjun has confirmed that he has already filed papers to join Army as a similar guest. So very soon he’s going to be seen as Lt Colonel Allu Arjun, isn’t he?
