Scripts rejected by one hero landing into the lap of other heroes is very common. But, it sounds very interesting when this scenario happens among the heroes of top four families of Tollywood.
After making a successful debut with ‘Uyyala Jampala’, young director Virinchi Varma made a decent film in his second attempt, “Majnu” starring Nani. In his third project, he aimed to direct Akkineni Naga Chaitanya. He reportedly had a couple of story discussions with him too, but he couldn’t get the nod of the young Akkineni hero. Varma has reportedly been asked to wait as Chaitu has been busy with a slew of films.
Vexed by the never-ending wait, (Varma has made just two films in six years), he then approached Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and got a positive response. Kalyan Ram hasn’t yet signed Varm’s film either but the latter is confident that the Nandamuri hero will give his green signal surely.
Earlier, a supposed to be Naga Chaitanya-starrer was eventually made with mega hero Sai Dharam Tej, “Inttelligent”. And, we all know what a colossal flop it became. This time, a subject rejected by Chaitu went to a Nandamuri hero.
