It is known that the Telangana Government has decided to hold the assembly sessions in 2 days and every Telanganite is very eager to know what’s in the store for them. These sessions are going to be held with strict Covid rules, precautions, and social distancing measures. In the meanwhile, KCR has ordered the officials to bring revolutionary changes in the Revenue Act of Telangana.

Before August 15, 2019, KCR has said that he is going to show his mark of administration and that is nothing but revising the acts in the most prominent sectors in which a revolutionary thought can change the fate of Telangana. So, KCR has already started the procedure to bring notable changes in the revenue system. It is known that had already started to revised the Panchayati Raj Act and New Municipal Act.

KCR firmly believes that the revolutionary changes in these sectors will improve the lives of the people. It is believed that effective implementation of the three laws will bring swiftness in the eradication of corruption and maintains transparency in governance. Of these, the new Panchayati Raj Act, the new Municipal Act have already come into force.

The most crucial Revenue Act has not yet been tabled in the Assembly. But the draft was ready a long back. There are reports that the corruption of Revenue officials is currently on a large scale and there is also dissatisfaction among the people. Along with the CM, his own media also hinted about the change in the revenue system and now the law is likely to be introduced in the Assembly.

Now, the KCR is likely to scrap the entire Revenue act from its core and rewrite a new one. Hence, KCR has decided to hold the assembly for any number of days to discuss the issues proposed by all the political parties. Meeting with party leaders, KCR decided to discuss various issues including prevention of COVID transmission, efficient medical treatment for corona victims, extended medical services in the state, crop damage due to heavy rains, and the accident at Srisailam hydropower plant as well.
