Star MAA bags upcoming biggest films in Telugu

Star MAA is one of the dominant channels in Telugu. Since its origin, the popular entertainment channel has been acquiring the satellite rights of many big projects and entertaining its viewers. When it comes to fetching good TRPs, the channel is always given tough competition to other channels in Telugu.

This time, Star MAA is gearing up to glue the Telugu audience to Televisions as they have bagged the television rights of nearly all the upcoming Tollywood biggies.

As per reports, the channel bought the rights of SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR, Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata, Naga Chaitanya’s Love Story, Akhil’s Most Eligible bachelor, Balakrishna’s Akhanda, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa, Nithiin’s Maestro, Ravi Teja’s Khiladi and Nani’s Tuck Jagadish.

This is not yet finished, the channel is in talks with other films as well and many more will join the list in the future. Seem like Star MAA is going to record some never before TRPs in the coming days.

Prabhas Joins the Sets of Vishnu Manchu’s “Kannappa”

Prolific actor Prabhas, following the thunderous success of “Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire,” continues to juggle a packed filming schedule. In between his commitments to the futuristic sci-fi film “Kalki 2898 AD” and the action-packed sequel “Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam,” Prabhas has graciously carved out time for a special guest appearance in Vishnu Manchu’s upcoming mythological extravaganza, “Kannappa.”

“Kannappa” marks a prestigious project for Manchu Vishnu, boasting a star-studded cast that transcends regional boundaries. Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has already completed his filming, reportedly portraying the role of Lord Shiva. Now, Prabhas joins the ensemble, bringing his immense star power to the project.

While details surrounding Prabhas’ specific character remain shrouded in some mystery, rumors suggest he might be portraying Nandeeshwar, the revered chief attendant of Lord Shiva. Filming for his key scenes commenced on May 7th at the expansive Ramoji Film City and is expected to conclude within four days.

Prabhas’ involvement in “Kannappa” signifies a significant milestone for the film, propelling it closer to completion. However, extensive post-production work, particularly focusing on visual effects, is still on the horizon. Following his contribution to “Kannappa,” Prabhas is slated to shift his focus to “Raja Saab.” He will then meticulously manage his schedule to ensure filming progresses smoothly for both “Raja Saab” and the highly anticipated “Salaar 2.”

Prabhas’ decision to participate in “Kannappa” underscores his dedication to diverse cinematic experiences. This special appearance adds another layer of grandeur to the already impressive production, undoubtedly generating immense excitement amongst audiences.
