Vennela Kishore, a prominent figure in Tollywood comedy, is stepping into a new role as a leading actor. After establishing himself as the go-to comedian in recent years, Kishore is venturing into the realm of mystery films with “Srikakulam Sherlock Holmes.”

The film’s motion teaser has been unveiled, offering a glimpse into the title and its leading man. Kishore takes center stage, hinting at a comedic take on the classic detective character, Sherlock Holmes. Set against the backdrop of Srikakulam, the movie promises to blend humor with a captivating mystery.

Comparisons have been drawn to “Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya,” another Telugu mystery film. However, the makers assure viewers that “Srikakulam Sherlock Holmes” will offer a unique story.

Ananya Nagalla joins Kishore as the female lead, while Siya Gowtam and Muralidhar Goud portray supporting characters. The production team boasts Vennapusa Ramana Reddy as the producer, Mohan as the writer and director, Dragon Prakash as the fight choreographer, and Sunil Kashyap as the music composer. Lyrical contributions come from Purna Chaari, Kasarla Shyam, and Rama Jogayya Sastri, with Sekhar Master handling the dance choreography. Lasya Reddy serves as the film’s presenter.

The release date for “Srikakulam Sherlock Holmes” remains under wraps, but the makers have indicated its arrival “soon.” This upcoming project signifies Vennela Kishore’s expansion beyond comedic roles and his potential to lead a captivating narrative.
