With the female lead Samantha suddenly caught ill and was away from shooting from about three months, Autonagar Suriya was halted midway. The movie shooting is complete except for a song and few scenes. Samantha is now full recovered and will join the shoot from 20th of this month. The last 3 days of Talkie portion will be shot. The remaining song will be shot in the first week of August.
The film is being directed by Deva Katta of Prasthanam fame. Atchi Reddy is producing the movie under Max India banner. Anup Rubens is the music composer
