Sometimes, the followers on social media don’t reflect in the offers that are in hand. For example, Superstar Rajni has quite fewer followers than that of Amitabh Bachan and Shahrukh Khan, but that doesn’t mean his film’s openings will be low. We know how phenomenal they could be.
And now, there is talk about curvaceous siren Shruti Haasan who has reached a terrific mark on Twitter, but still no films in hand. After Pawan Kalyan’s Katamarayudu, which turned into a dud at the box office, Shruti didn’t sign any project in Telugu and Tamil languages. Other than the rumour that recently she gave a go to one film with John Abraham, she didn’t pick any Telugu or Tamil film.
But she is quite active on Twitter and now got 7 million followers, which is higher than the follower’s count of star heroes like Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun. Both the stars have a handful of projects and huge fan base, though they have only 5.9 million and 2.1 million followers on Twitter. Even if we take heroines like Samantha (6.5+ million followers) and Rakul Preet (2.3+ million followers), they have almost four new films in hand.
There are rumours that Shruti bid adieu to films and going to marry her long relationship boyfriend anytime soon. But she condemned the statements many times. The 32-year old actress has just one confirmed project in her hand which is Shabaash Naidu, which features her father Kamal Haasan in the lead role.
