Believe it or not, a whopping Rs 3 Crore is being spent by Mythri Movie Makers on a special set for their second venture Janatha Garage. Touted to be one of the most expensive sets, noted art director AS Prakash has designed the set. A big garage set, tailor-made for Janatha Garage, is erected in the city where crucial portions of the film are shot. It’s learnt that the set completely looks original. What’s more? Producers are going to buy 15 to 20 old cars to put them in the garage.
Producers Naveen, Ravi and CV Mohan are leaving no stone unturned to make Janatha Garage a remarkable film after making a blockbuster debut with Srimanthudu. Riding high with Mirchi, Srimanthudu, Koratala is directing the film which has Samantha, Nithya Menen in female leads.
Back with a bang with the success of Nannaku Prematho, NTR is prepping up to join the film’s shoot soon. The film will be officially launched on Feb 22 in Saradhi Studios. After the first schedule in Hyderabad, the unit will leave for Mumbai where major portions will be shot. Devi Sri Prasad has been roped in to score music.
