Dangal, starring Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan, is unarguably the super sensation in Bollywood. The extremely brilliant and unmatchable performance of Aamir was highly praised by everyone, and it also has fetched him the Filmfare award.
So, what if the actor wouldn’t have picked up Mahavir Singh Phogat’s role? Who else would be seen in that role?
If you’re really wondering about it, here’s what a creative producer from UTV Motion Pictures reveals an answer to it. ‘If Aamir had turned down the offer, we had our plans to approach South Superstars Kamal Haasan and Mohanlal as second options,’ she said. That brings us to a conclusion that, ‘had Aamir said no to Dangal, it would definitely gone on to the hands of a south actor.’ – either the Kollywood’s Universal Hero or Malayalam Superstar!
But, we are not sure how well they’d (Kamal or Mohanlal) have suited to a wrestler’s role. However, Mr. Khan’s performance has left us wanting for more. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal is already a highest grosser in India and it’s now inching closer to 375Cr mark.
