Rajinikanth’s ‘2.0’ has been postponed to next year leaving all the distributors worried.
The film was to release this summer, but was postponed to August/ Deepavali. But latest reports say it has further been pushed to summer of 2019.
Several distributors who bought the film for many areas and paid huge amounts in advance have started calling the producers to return their money.
Their argument is that they will not be getting any profit if the film continues to get postponed since the interest on the advance amount will be mounting.
Although the producers cite the reason for the delay as the graphics taking time, the distributors suspect finances must be the reason.
It is rumoured that the makers have run out of money to invest on this project. They have already put in huge money. They are reportedly trying hard to adjust money further for the VFX.
