While F2 is a Sankranthi release whose light is slowly going to lose its sheen, Yatra is fresh from the farm to attract more viewers. But trade buzz has that still the Venky and Varun Tej starrer is showing stars to all other films out there like the way it sidelined NTR biopic and Vinaya Vidheya Rama as well.
Sample this: Yesterday (Feb 9th) some big theatres in RTC X Roads of Hyderabad city witnessed a stunning phenomenon as F2 collected 53K from the First Show while the theatre playing Yatra made only Rs. 44K. That 10K excess shows how F2 is being liked by the masses.
Even if we take the second show collections from this area, Yatra has slightly surpassed F2 but haven’t showcased true domination. While trade expects that both the films will run, none is anticipating that F2 will reign the registers even after 30 days of its release.
Meanwhile, Yatra picked up in some areas due to good word of mouth about the emotional content inside, while A centres are witnessing a downward trend.
