KCR’s cabinet formation exercise is turning out to be a pot-boiler of the first order. There are so many twists and turns in this whole exercise. Many expected the cabinet to be formed in the first week of February. But, the second week has already begun and there is not cabinet still in sight. But, sources say the cabinet would be formed in a couple of days. The exercise has reached the final stage.
Insiders say that KCR will have only 13 more ministers. He has himself and Mahmood Ali as ministers and 13 more would make the total 15. 1+5 is 6, which is KCR’s lucky number. Sources also say that only a few of the earlier ministers would be made ministers this time. It is being said that both KCR and party working president and son KTR held a long meeting on Wednesday night and spent hours working out the cabinet formation.
It is revealed that KCR is working on the caste calculations. Work is also on over who would be deputy speaker and who would be the woman minister in the cabinet. The cabinet expansion could in all likelihood be on February 10. The cabinet would be expanded later after the Lok Sabha elections are over.
