Everybody knows by now that both Mahesh and Allu Arjun are locking horns with each other this Sankranti. They both are arriving on the same day and it became a hot topic in the industry circles. ‘Venky Mama’ entered this race out of the blue and surprised everyone. But the real question is can this film survive in between these two stars.
Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya’s market is very less compared to Mahesh and Bunny. Though Venky came out as a Sankranti winner with ‘F2’, it had many reasons. One of the main reasons for its success is the massive failure of ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama’ and ‘NTR’ biopic. Also, director Anil Ravipudi cleverly made it appealing to the families, unlike the other two films. But this time, the same Anil is coming with Mahesh’s Sarileru Neekevvaru’. Allu Arjun’s ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramlo’ is a Trivikram directorial. We all are quite aware of the craze Trivikram has among the family audience.
To ‘Venky Mama’s disadvantage, its director Bobby never delivered a solid hit despite directing stars like Ravi Teja, Pawan, and NTR. So, things will get tough for ‘Venky Mama’ if both Mahesh and Bunny’s films get positive talk.
