We usually see sets being erected in Film City for historic films like Baahubali, Rudhrama Devi and Gautamiputra Satakarani. But Krish breaks the trend for Gautamiputra Satakarani, and purchased 10 acres land in Hyderabad outskirts. This land will house all the massive sets of the film.
This is to ensure that the sets will last longer even after Gautamiputra Satakarani shoot and can be rented out to other films and event. Also sets in own premises will prevent outsiders from entering and the tension of leaks can also be prevented. The movie is currently being shot in Morocco and will shift to this location after that schedule. Sets are being erected there now.
Mokshagna will play an Assistant director to Krish for the movie. This is to ensure that he has a good understanding of all the crafts in film making by the time of his filmy debut. Gautamiputra Satakarani is being planned for January 12th, 2017 release as Sankranthi Special. Gautamiputra Satakarani will be the costliest film in Balakrishna’s career and will cost a whopping 50 Crore.
