For the unversed, senior actress Shriya was roped in to play Ajay Devgan’s wife in Rajamouli’s magnum opus action thriller RRR. She even shot for a few of her scenes prior to the lockdown.
However, the latest reports imply that Rajamouli has chopped off Shriya’s portion in the film.
The ace filmmaker opines that Shriya’s subplot adds to the already lengthy runtime and that is the reason why he decided to cut this portion from the script.
Also, Rajamouli is planning to complete RRR shoot as early as possible in order to make sure that the film hits the big screens on 13th October. So he wants to shoot only important portions which will definitely make it to the final cut.
Meanwhile, the lead cast of RRR is all set to commence the forthcoming schedule very soon and the remaining portion will shot at a brisk pace.
The big-budget periodic action thriller is produced by DVV Danayya.
