Nandamuri Balakrishna tried in all possible ways to bring in another director to helm his dream project NTR, a biopic on his late father and great actor NTR, after Teja walked out of it owing to creative differences.
Nonetheless, no director has shown any interest to take up the project considering the many challenges and the fact that Balakrishna wants the project to be wrapped up at the earliest for a Dassera release.
As per reliable sources, it is confirmed that Balakrishna himself will direct the film under the supervision of legendary film-maker K Raghavendra Rao.
Although Balakrishna will take the complete responsibility of direction, Raghavendra Rao will take care of music sittings, screenplay and finalizing the right cast for the film.
Sai Korrapati and Vishnu Induri are other producers of the film. But Balakrishna will be putting in most of the budget. Balakrishna’s co-brother Prasad will look after production works of the film which will start rolling very soon.
Actually, Balakrishna approached Raghavendra Rao with the proposal to direct the film. However, Raghavendra Rao promised to take on some aspects of the film’s making and he suggested that Balakrishna must direct the project.
K Raghavendra Rao with the experience of working on numerous projects with late NTR will add some interesting inputs to the script.
