After his two month sabbatical which earned him a lot of criticism, Congress scion Rahul Gandhi seems to have been gradually evolving himself as a mass politician. Rahul Gandhi’s upcoming proposed yatra to visit the families of those tenant farmers, who had committed suicide in Adilabad district is making TRS scared.
Sources say that no sooner than the details of the tenant farmers’ families which Rahul Gandhi is planning to visit were released, the TRS government had reportedly rushed ministers to their homes with a financial compensation ranging from Rs 10000 to one lakh. Rahul’s ‘Rythu Bharosa’ yatra is raising hopes among Congress them for galvanizing the cadre of the Congress.
Even after granting Telangana, the grand old party had failed to seize the initiative in convincing the voters of Telangana to opt for them and now Rahul’s yaathra couldn’t have come at a better time for the Congressmen who are busy infighting and are lagging behind TDP in raising their voice against KCR.
Congress leaders who are not hand-in-glove with TRS are exerting pressure on high command to quickly create plans for capitalizing the anti-incumbent sentiment in TS which has started very early than expected. In this regard, the so called novice like Rahul scaring TRS shows that the pink party is still wary of the strong Congress cadre here.
