KGF Chapter 2 released with huge hype and first day collection of the film in Hindi markets crossed Baahubali 2 collection and even grossed more than any Hindi film on the opening day.
Second day and Third Day collections have also been huge. After the first week, the total tally is Rs. 268 crores Nett in Hindi markets.
With such huge start many thought it might cross even Baahubali 2 total collection of Rs. 510 crores Nett in Hindi. Second to Baahubali 2 is Dangal with Rs. 387 crores.
Dangal did very well in China and crossed Rs. 2000 gross worldwide. KGF Chapter 2 grossed Rs. 588 crores worldwide in the first week.
Movie doesn’t have enough elements that family audiences will be willing to watch it again and again. It is an action entertainer with more mass elements.
Film might cross Dangal with 400 crores Nett gross but 510 crores Nett seems highly impossible to achieve for the film.
Prashanth Neel directed the film and Yash acted as the lead. KGF Chapter 2 will remain biggest blockbuster for Kannada Cinema for many decades to come.
