Nothing illustrates the confusion within the TRS more than the proposed tour of Chief Minister KCR to Karimnagar district. KCR had indicated to his close camp followers that he would tour Karimnagar in the first week of January. The first week has almost come to an end and there is still no news of KCR’s visit.
KCR is expected to attend the wedding ceremony of Peddapally ZP chief Putta Madhu’s daughter on January 8. He was also expected to pay a visit to Bhupalapally to inspect Kaleshwaram works. The wedding is barely few hours away. But, there is no intimation to the district administration so far. Normally, whenever a CM visits some part of the state, prior intemation would be given to the district administration to make suitable arrangements.
Till Thursday morning, no such information has reached the district administration. Hence, there is confusion as to whether KCR would visit Karimnagar district or not. However, as a precaution, the Ramagundam police have already conducted mock drills for the VVIP visit.
