Amid reports that those who have opposed the movement for Telangana and have joined the TRS after it came to power are enthusiastically backing, there is a buzz that old-timers in the party are none too happy with the development.
There is also a buzz that KTR will depend more on the newcomers rather than loyalist old-timers. Of late, he has struck a formidable relationship with leaders like Talasani, Arikapudi Gandhi and others. At the same time, his relation with leaders like Etela Rajender, Rasamayi Balkishan and others is under strain. Several old leaders in the TRS are less enthusiastic about this development.

The other day, Bandi Sanjay made a startling statement that the TVS were being broken in the Pragathi Bhavan over the succession plan. He said that he got the inside information from KCR’s close confidants themselves. He also alleged that KCR had gone to Kaleshwaram only to immerse the holy ashes of the Yagnam that he had secretly performed at his farm house.
