Actor Vijay Deverakonda is surely not a man that loves publicity that comes from his charitable ventures. Apparently, the actor pledged an amount of Rs 5 lakh to the Film Newscasters Association impressed by the welfare activities they’ve been taking up, and made sure no news of it was leaked.
Sources reveal that though this happened before the release of his film latest World Famous Lover, the actor didn’t want anyone to know as it would be assumed that he was doing it for the film’s promotion.
The actor expressed happiness over the association’s activities and shared that he was delighted to be a part of it indirectly.
Vijay is known to be quite charitable in general. While he doesn’t like to publicise it, he takes up several activities related to child welfare and the society in general. It looks like he is a hero not just on screen but off the screen too.
