World Famous Lover has taken the best opening among the films that released post Sankranthi biggies. However, it is not anywhere close to what Vijay Deverakonda’s previous film Dear Comrade collected on its day 1.
Considering the low buzz and flop soundtrack, World Famous Lover posted decent enough numbers on its opening day.The film has opened to disappointing reports from all corners and it would be a Herculean task for it to breakeven from this point.It needs to collect over Rs. 30 Cr share from theatricals, but the disappointing reports and the dip in collections on Saturday morning are a huge concern for its makers and buyers.
Vijay Deverakonda’s reluctance to come out of Arjun Reddy mode is turning out to be a big problem for his movies.Last week’s release Jaanu is heading for a disaster at the box office. Even Dil Raju has given up on the film after realizing that there is no hope for recovery.
