The suspension of IPS officer AB Venkateswarao extended for another six months

The government has issued orders extending the suspension of IPS officer AB Venkateswarao in AP. The government clarified in the orders that the suspension would be extended for another six months.

It is noteworthy that the suspension extension orders have been in force since August last year. IPS officer AB Venkateswarao has already written a letter to the IPS Officers’ Association alleging that the AP government is conspiring to file criminal cases against him.

AB said in the letter that he also had evidence of this. Venkateswara Rao has been criticizing the YCP government for harassing him for months.

Venkateswara Rao said in the letter that if the General Body of the IPS Officers’ Association was formed immediately, he would explain all the issues, including the evidence, and he demanded an impartial inquiry. IPS AB Venkateswara said that he had no trust in the YCP government.
