He has announced that his upcoming film ‘Turbo’ will be hitting the screens on 13th June. It is reportedly a thrilling action drama directed by Vysakh.

Including ‘Turbo’, Mammootty has lined up five movies in just 7 months which is astonishing. Considering the fact that he is 71, his dominance at the box office is something to marvel at. He was seen a few months back in ‘Kannur Squad’ which was a blockbuster and he arrived with a horror movie like ‘Bramayugam’ which was another super hit in recent times.

He even did a thought-provoking film like ‘Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam’ and did ‘Kaathal’ too. His performance win ‘Ozler’ was praised many in recent times. He is not showing any signs of slowing down and he is constantly exploring new storylines and genres.

He is pushing boundaries and giving chances to new directors as well. While many choose to play safe roles at his age, he is constantly proving everyone wrong and trying one unconventional character after another which is earning him a lot of respect from the public.
