Alia Bhatt is enjoying the best phase of her life. She is part of an internationally successful film like ‘RRR’, won the National Award in the Best Actress category for ‘Gangubai Khatiawadi’, got married and became a mom, and also made her Hollywood debut with Gal Gadot’s ‘Heart Of Stone’. Her last outing ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ too turned out to be a big hit.

Now, she has selected another interesting project which was announced a while ago. The special announcement video reveals Alia’s look in the film and it is designed in a creative manner. It resembles Japanese superhero comic style and Alia’s voiceover from behind suggests that her brother who tied the Rakhi to her is going to be under her protection from now.

The movie is named ‘Jigra’ and it is going to be released on 27th September 2024. Produced under Dharma Productions and Eternal Sunshine banners, this movie is going to be directed by Vasan Bala. Alia expressed her happiness by saying, “From debuting in a Dharma production to now producing a film with them, in many ways, it feels like coming full circle from where I started. Every day is a different day… exciting, challenging (and a little scary)… not just as an actor but also as a producer as we bring this film to life, and I CANNOT wait to share more as we move forward.”
