Malayalam superstar Mohanlal’s upcoming big-budget film, Marakkar: Arabia Samudra Simham, will have theatrical release on December 2nd. The film, directed by Priyadarshan, is the most expensive Malayalam film.
Antony Perumbavoor, Malayalam’s top producer, who received two National Awards and made numerous blockbusters under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas has produced Marakkar in association with Confident Group on a massive budget.
Tollywood’s leading production and distribution house Suresh Productions owned by Suresh Babu has acquired Marakkar’s Telugu rights and it will have grand release in Telugu states.
Mohanlal’s popularity is not confined to single language or state, he is a noted star in Telugu and other languages as well. His films like Manyam Puli did exceptional business in Telugu and he’s part of few superhit straight Telugu movies such as Janatha Garage.
