KCR has set up another inquiry committee on Etela Rajender

The Chief Minister of Telangana, KCR has set up another inquiry committee on allegations that former minister Etela Rajender has encroached on the temple lands in Telangana. The government set up the committee with four IAS officers. The committee was set up to probe allegations that Etela Rajender occupied the Devarayanjala Sitaramaswamy temple lands in Shamirpeta Mandal.

The committee comprises Panchayati Raj Commissioner Raghunandan Rao, District Collectors Prashant Jeevan, Barathi Holikeri, and Shweta Mahanti. The committee was set up to look into complaints that Etela Rajender and others had encroached on the lands belong to the temple.

Etela Rajender responded in a media conference on the formation of the committee. He recalled that the Diwan Committee had inquired into the lands and issued a report.
