Ileana D’Cruz, a leading actress known for her captivating performances in Telugu films like “Pokiri” and “Jalsa,” recently experienced a mixed critical reception for her latest project, “Do Aur Do Pyaar.” This prompted a candid interview where Ileana shed light on her character, the film’s journey, and the unexpected pause in her acting career.
While acknowledging her characteristic selectiveness in choosing roles, Ileana clarifies that her recent hiatus was unintentional. The unforeseen arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 disrupted her pursuit of promising projects. Filming for “Do Aur Do Pyaar” commenced in 2021, followed by her pregnancy, leading her to remark, “Sometimes, we have to take a break with nothing in our hands.”
Despite the break, Ileana revealed a strong personal connection to her character, Nora, in “Do Aur Do Pyaar.” “Like Nora,” she explains, “I am very sensitive. I crave deep, emotional connection.
