The adorable couple took their relationship to the next level by tying the knot. As reported earlier the marriage was held at the Khandala farmhouse that belongs to Suniel Shetty. Rahul and Athiya had an intimate marriage at the family farmhouse. Members of both families attended the wedding and blessed the newlywed.
More than the marriage, the luxury gifts received by the couple became the talk of the town. Several media reports said that KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty received gifts like BMW Car and Sport Bike. Former cricketers are said to have presented the costly gifts to the couple.
After the reports started doing rounds, people started talking about the tax the couple has to pay for the luxury gifts they received. Now the family reacted to this and dubbed them as nothing but false and baseless.
Suniel Shetty and his family reacted to this and said that there is no truth behind this. Talking to a leading news outlet the family called the news fake. Condemning the reports, Shetty said that the reports are baseless and urged the media to confirm with them before publishing them.
“All the reports published are absolutely baseless and not true we request the press fraternity to confirm details with us before publishing such incorrect information in public domain,” Suniel Shetty’s family said.
Earlier media reports said that Salman Khan gifted a luxury car worth over Rs 1.6 crore while former Indian skipper Virat Kohli gave a cat that is around double the cost of the car gifted by Salman Khan. Celebrated Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni also gifted a costly gift by giving a sports bike worth Rs 80 lakh.
KL Rahul tied the knot with Athiya Shetty on the 23rd of this month at the Khandala farmhouse. After dating for a few hours. They decided to take the relationship to the next step.
