AP BJP Chief Somu Veerraju Announces Yathra In State

BJP’s state president Somu Veerraju spoke to media after a meeting with party leaders in Visakhapatnam. He condemned the demolition of temples in the state and announced a yatra from Kapila Theertham to Rama Theertham from February 4. He said the yatra would continue wherever the temples were damaged. He also said that his party will fight against the ongoing disruption to Hindutva.

Meanwhile, the AP BJP Chief demanded an explanation from AP DGP Gautam Sawang for his statements on involving BJP activists behind the demolition of temples in the state.

On Saturday, Veerraju wrote to DGP Gautam Sawang. In his letter, he stated the scrolling on TV and newspapers written in some newspapers that the DGP had declared that some BJP workers were involved in the attacks on temples. He asked for an explanation from the police boss, otherwise, the defamation will be filed.
