In recent times, Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad brought Tamil crazy hero STR aka Silambarasan onboard for ‘The Warrior’. The star composer made the hero sing the super hit ‘Bullet Song’ in Tamil as well as Telugu. The song became a chartbuster during the time of the film’s release. It worked out quite well for the makers in terms of movie promotions as well.
It looks like Thaman has decided to take the same route. Sources say that the ‘Kick’ composer is planning to make STR sing a song in Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Varisu’. The first song ‘Ranjithame’ from this film turned out to be a big hit instantly and fans are playing it in the loop. It was Vijay himself who sang this chartbuster number. The latest we hear is that Thaman composed a mass number and Simbu’s unique vocals will be used for it. The official announcement is yet to come out regarding this update.
Thaman and STR worked together previously for movies like ‘Osthe’ and ‘Vaalu’. The ‘Maanaadu’ star sang ‘Diamond Girl’ song in NTR’s ‘Baadshah’. As we know, Thaman is the music composer for this film. They both have a great bond and it will not be a shock if Simbu sings in Thalapathy’s ‘Varisu’ in Tamil and Telugu as well. Let us wait and see what happens.
‘Varisu’ is written and directed by Vamsi Paidipally. his movie is produced by Dil Raju and he is planning to release it during the Pongal season. Rashmika Mandanna is the heroine in this film. Thaman composed the music while noted actors like Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Yogi Babu, Jayasudha, Prabhu, Sarathkumar and others play prominent roles.
