Once during a promotional event of S/o Satyamurthy movie, director Trivikram stated that though our epics and history always explored the mother and children relation quite well, somehow fathers remained unsung. That’s the reason he carved that film of Allu Arjun.
And if the reports doing rounds in Film Nagar regarding the stories of various films are anything to go by, we have to say that Tollywood is now going to explore this Father-Son dynamic big time. As many as three upcoming biggies actually deal with this aspect.
We hear that Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi is a father-son drama with the majority of the story taking crucial turns based on their journey. Then we have Nani’s Jersey, which is also said to be a father-son friction kind of story. And how they shun their egos to lead happy life forms the crux. Guess what, even Trivikram-Bunny are said to be exploring the same topic again for their upcoming movie.
We have to see how these star heroes and their acts with onscreen fathers really fare at the box office.
