With his Rowdy-boy attitude, great looks and impeccable onscreen performance, Tollywood sensation Vijay Deverakonda has gained massive fan following and achieved star status in no time.Remember when he auctioned his first film fare award and donated the cash prize of Rs 25 lakh to Telangana CM Relief fund few weeks ago? That’s just a small incident which makes him really extra-special for his fans.
Now, to help the cyclone hit Srikakulam people, he made a financial contribution of Rs 5 lakh to AP Chief minister relief fund. By sharing screen shot of transfer receipt on his social media, the actor who is in Leh appealed his fans: “This time it’s our own. Let’s join in. Every contribution is massive. You did it last time with me for Kerala, let’s do it one more time. I stand with you Andhra Pradesh and so will a lot of my people. #CycloneTitli”.
Prior to him, Tollywood actor Sampoornesh Babu made a donation of 50,000 Rs towards AP CMRF and he was the first person to respond from the film industry. This act of generosity by both the actors from Telangana for an Andhra district, affected by cyclone, sends out a signal that they cannot be owned by one region and in the end, they’re our Telugu heroes. Also, other Telugu stars should draw an inspiration from them and come forward for people of Srikakulam.
