Like every other hero out there, even Jr NTR used to have certain beliefs when it comes to picking certain directors. He used to work with those filmmakers who just gave a blockbuster but ended up getting a disaster in her kitty. And then he got this new sentiment that is working.
Earlier when NTR picked the likes of Boyapati, Surender Reddy, Harish Shankar, Santosh Srinivas after they have delivered films like Simha, Kick, Gabbar Singh and Kandireega, they have delivered only duds. Dammu, Oosaravelli, Ramayya Vastavayya and Rabhasa are the results. And then he changed the trend.
Realising that hit status of a director doesn’t matters, he picked the likes of Puri Jagan, Sukumar and KS Ravindra whose just-released films are duds and ended up delivering smashing hits like Temper, Nannaku Prematho and Jai Lava Kusa while he worked with hit director Koratala Siva in between for Janatha Garage.
Now fans are feeling a sentiment that Trivikram’s just released Agnyathavasi flopped huge so definitely his film with Jr NTR is going to be a blockbuster as per the newly felt sentiment. For fans that might be a sentiment, but for directors who scored flops, it will be a challenge to deliver a hit and hence they will focus more and end up getting a positive result. Isn’t it?
