Karnataka crisis: 21 ministers resign for rebels

Interesting developments are being witnessed every hour in Karnataka politics. The rebels who are refusing to back down from their resignation are holding talks with Congress high command. Former Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah has also got to the ground to end this crisis situation in the state.

In order to convince the rebel MLAs, the Congress high command has decided to make the current ministers resign from their post and offer ministries to the rebels. We hear that 21 ministers have resigned and Siddaramaiah tweeted that the same and also requested them to save the coalition government from collapsing. Siddaramaiah threw the blame on BJP for instigating rebels against the government. Congress MPs on Monday raised slogans against BJP in Lok Sabha.

JD(S) ministers are reportedly in dual thoughts over stepping down. Karnataka transport minister Thammanna said his party did not suggest anything so far but if asks so, he is ready to quit. Amidst these happenings, Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy has called for a cabinet meeting on Monday evening. In this very meeting a major decision is likely to be taken. Some time back Kumaraswamy informed the media that the issue will be solved soon and the government will resume its work smoothly.
