The TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu’s hopes were suddenly raised when BJP’s PM candidate Narendra Modi praised TDP and NTR during his maiden rally at LB Stadium five months ago. After that with mediations of BJP leaders like Venkaiah Naidu and Ananth Kumar, Naidu made right noises about tying up with BJP and even BJP leaders tried their best when it comes to projecting Naidu as next NDA leader.
But it is being said that when Jagan Mohan Reddy met BJP leadership in Delhi last month he gave them a report explaining how BJP would be at loss in Telangana with facts and figures in case it ties up with TDP. Now it is being said that this may be the reason why there have been no moves by BJP leadership regarding alliance with TDP. TDP sources however say they know Jagan’s cunning moves and BJP knows the cadre strength of TDP.
