Ex Union Minister and Sr TDP Leader Dies

Former Union Minister and TDP’s senior most leader Bolla Bulli Ramaiah has passed away on Wednesday. He breathed his last in Tanuku, West Godavari district with age-related illness. He was 92.

Born on July 9, 1926 in Tatipaka of East Godavari, he forayed into politics in 1984 when NT Ramarao had founded TDP. He had served as Eluru MP consecutively for three terms and elected to 9th, 10th and 12th Lok Sabha from Eluru (1984, 1991 and 1998)

Bulli Ramaiah was the party MP candidate in Eluru for the last 25 years since the inception of the TDP barring the 2009 and 2014 general elections.

He stayed away from active politics for the last few years due to his indisposition. Bolla’s final rites will take place in Peddapatnam near Tatipaka, his native village.

TDP chief and AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has condoled the death of Bolla Bulli Ramaiah.
