In a state where tempers are running high in the election season, Pawan’s devotee, as Bandla Ganesh often claims, is a happy face. However, it looks like the producer is upset with Shadnagar seat being allotted to C. Prathap Reddy.
Shadnagar being his hometown, Bandla Ganesh had earlier made statements that he is confident of winning as an MLA from wherever he contests. Sources say that Prathap Reddy had contested from Shadnagar in 2009 and won from there. However, he lost to his TRS counterpart in 2014. With a history of victory and defeat, Congress has pinned its hopes on Prathap Reddy this time too.
Bandla Ganesh, who recently accompanied TPCC Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy during an election campaign in Huzoornagar, seemed to be the star campaigner who garnered great crowd response. Following this, the Congress had decided to have Bandla Ganesh in all their upcoming campaigns as he attracts Pawan Kalyan’s fans too.
With this blow, we are yet to watch whether Congress will field him from any other constituency or use him for its election campaigns to attract voters.
